Dr. Washington Retirement Letter

To My Dear Patient,

With many emotions, I am writing to inform you that as of July 31st, 2022, I will no longer be practicing Podiatry as Sound Foot Care, PC at this location. I will be retiring!
Practicing Podiatry has been a lifelong dream. I am humbled to have generations of families to put their trust in me to care for their feet. I realize many people are not as
fortunate as I have been to have an occupation they truly love. I am so grateful to each of you for the trust you placed in me to serve as your Podiatrist for the past 35 plus
years. Ending this doctor-patient relationship is a much more difficult task than I ever imagined.

If taking care of patients was the only demand, I am sure I would continue to work a while longer. However, as many of you know, the practice of all phases of medicine has
changed quite a bit. Much more time is spent filling out forms, entering computer data and fulfilling government demands and Covid protocols. This cuts into the time I can
spend caring for each of my patients. I can no longer face this demand and frustration.  I wish each of you good health and good continuity in your foot health. There are many
Podiatrists in all insurance networks who are accepting new patients. Your records will be safely stored at the EPIC EHR through CHSLI.

With warmest regards,

Ronald Washington, DPM
